Flying Cross Stitch
The Flying Cross Needlepoint Stitch is a variation of the basic cross stitch. It involves working several cross stitches in a diagonal row, with each stitch offset from the previous one.

- Insert the needle from back to front and make a stitch to three canvas threads up and two to the left
- Then move the needle three canvas threads down (behind the canvas), insert the needle (from back to front), and make a stitch to the canvas hole localized three canvas threads up and two to the right
- Move the needle (behind the needle) one canvas thread down, insert the needle, and continue making crosses of three canvas threads in height by two canvas threads in width. Always stitch from down-left to up-right have to be over the up-left to down-right
- Remember to go one row down at the end of one cross to start with the next one, creating the diagonal effect
