Half Rhodes Stitch
The Half Rhodes Needlepoint Stitch is commonly used to create textured patterns and fill in areas of a design. The Half Rhodes Stitch is worked over a smaller area and usually forms a diamond or square shape.

- Recommended for: Small areas

- Start by making a diagonal stitch skipping six canvas intersections
- Then, make six more stitches of the same length by moving the top one canvas thread to the left and the bottom one canvas thread to the right
- Perform the same process below the previous sequence making the lower stitches of the first one meet the upper stitches of the second one
- To make the following column, take in consideration that the widest part of the first column must meet the narrowest part of the second column
