Cashmere Stitch
The Cashmere Needlepoint Stitch is a versatile and decorative needlepoint stitch commonly used for creating textured patterns and designs.

- Secure your thread on the backside of the canvas by making a small knot, and insert the needle from the back of the canvas to the front.
- Move diagonally across the canvas to the next canvas intersection, forming a diagonal stitch. Insert the needle from the front to the back.
- Move the needle to the canvas hole immediately below the third stitch and insert it from the back to the front.
- Go diagonally across the canvas again, skipping two intersections of the canvas, forming another diagonal stitch. Insert the needle from front to back.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 by moving down one canvas row.
- Move down passing two canvas threads and one horizontally to the left.
- Insert the needle from back to front and move diagonally across the canvas to the next intersection of the canvas, forming a diagonal stitch.
- Insert the needle from the back to the front into the hole in the canvas immediately below stitch 5. Bring the needle up diagonally to the right passing over one canvas intersection, this will make stitches 10 and 7 be in the same hole.
- Repeat the stitches as many times as necessary.
