The Rhode Circle Needlepoint Stitch is a decorative stitch that creates circular patterns, often resembling flowers or wheels. It's formed by a series of radiating straight stitches worked around a central point.

- All stitches of this variant will pass over four threads of canvas
- Start by making a vertical stitch from bottom to top
- Bring the needle to the canvas hole to the left of the bottom of the first stitch and make a diagonal stitch to the hole in the canvas to the right of the top of the first stitch
- Move the needle to the next diagonal up to the left hole in the canvas and stitch four canvas threads to the right and two threads up
- Repeat two more stitches moving one canvas thread up to start each stitch
- Move the needle three canvas intersections diagonally upward to the left and stitch the last stitch

- Start by making a vertical stitch from bottom to top
- Bring the needle to the canvas hole to the left of the bottom of the first stitch and make a diagonal stitch to the hole in the canvas to the right of the top of the first stitch
- Move the needle to the next diagonal up to the left hole in the canvas and stitch five canvas threads to the right and three threads up
- Repeat three more stitches moving one canvas thread up to start each stitch
- Move the needle four canvas intersections diagonally upward to the left and stitch the last stitch
