Woven Plait Stitch
The Woven Plait Needlepoint Stitch is a decorative stitch used to create textured and intricate patterns. It involves weaving threads over a base of straight stitches to form a plaited or braided effect.

- Stitch Structure: Diagonal, Crossed, Knitting

- Start making a sequence from right to left of diagonal stitches (from down-right to up-left) skipping two canvas threads each. Once you finished one diagonal stitch, just go two canvas threads down and start the next one
- At the end of the row, move the needle (behind the canvas) three canvas threads down and one to the right, then start making the same sequence as step 1 but in the opposite direction
- Once you finish the second row start the process again
