Reversed Cobblestone Stitch
The Reversed Cobblestone Needlepoint Stitch is a variation of the traditional Cobblestone Stitch. It's a textured stitch resembling a series of interconnected circles or squares.
Stitch Details
- Stitch Structure: Flat, Diagonal, Parallel, Condensed
- Related Stitch: Diagonal Triple Parisian Stitch
- Recommended for: Large areas, Mountains, Skies

- This stitch is worked from right to left
- Make two diagonal stitches to the upper right (the second stitch to the left of the first) skipping two canvas intersections each
- Then make a sequence of three diagonal stitches parallel to the previous one, skipping four canvas intersections (one intersection higher and lower than the previous ones)
- Repeat the first step by making two diagonal stitches by skipping two canvas intersections
- Move six canvas threads to the left and two down, then repeat the process
- Take note, in the down row the top of the longest stitches should coincide with the bottom of the longest stitches of the upper row
