No previous experience is necessary, as needlepoint kits typically include instructions and guidance for beginners! If you still have doubts, you should read about the benefits of needlepoint.

The time required to complete a needlepoint kit can vary depending on the design and the skill level of the person stitching. However, many small designs can be completed in a few hours, while larger designs may take several weeks.

There are many ways to frame a completed needlepoint design, including using a standard picture frame or having the design professionally framed. Yes, absolutely! All kits come with a printed needlepoint booklet, which contains instructions on how to get started. A typical needlepoint kit includes a printed canvas with the design to be stitched, a set of needles, a color chart, and the necessary yarn or thread.

In the case you already know that you are going to use the basketweave stitch, please let us know in advance and we'll include more thread before shipping your package.

Most of the needlepoint decorative stitches require less thread than the continental tent stitch.

Some of the few exceptions where you’ll need more thread are: Basketweave Tent stitch, Encroaching Gobelin, French knots.

If the decorative stitch you want to use contains sections that when stitching intersect with more than 1 hole, then most certainly it won’t require more thread than the continental tent stitch (with which you need to stitch every hole).

The larger the stitch is, the less thread will require!

Needlepoint kits are available in a wide range of designs, including floral patterns, landscapes, animals, and geometric shapes. We recommend that you go to the home page and select the tab "Shop by style", there you will find all the styles we have on the web.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to customize the design once we work with artists who own works created by them. If you like the design but don't like the colors so much, you can always send an email to hello@unwind.studio and request a color change.

The first process is to apply Blocking to your finished canvas, in case it is distorted. Check our detailed blog post where we explain all the steps for blocking. Then you need to select which finished product you want to obtain (ideally this needs to be considered before starting the stitching). The level of difficulty can vary depending on the design and the experience of the person using the kit. However, many needlepoint kits are designed for beginners and are easy to complete. In each product you can find a skill level including Beginner, Confident Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert, so you can choose the best fitting with you!

If you are someone who is just starting to learn the basics of crafting, becoming familiar with different stitch types, materials and tools, then Beginner is your level. Products at this level can be simple and straightforward, often with a limited color palette and basic designs. These kits are an easy introduction to needlepoint for everyone.

If you have gained a little more experience and are comfortable with basic stitches and techniques, are beginning to experiment with different types of yarns, colors and textures and your projects are becoming more complex, and you are beginning to explore various patterns and designs; then Confident Beginner is your level.

If you have mastered basic stitches and are now moving into more advanced decorative stitches, are comfortable working with a variety of threads and mesh canvases, and can tackle moderately complex patterns; then Intermediate is your level.

If you are highly skilled and experienced, have mastered a wide range of stitches and are able to stitch intricate and detailed designs, then Advanced is your level.

If you have honed your skills over many years and possess exceptional knowledge of stitches and different threads types, then you are a true master of needlepoint and your level is Expert. Experts can stitch incredibly detailed canvases without any difficulty at all. They can even develop their own techniques and contribute to the advancement of needlepoint as an art form.

We aim to process all orders within 1-3 working days, but it may take up to a week if the item is not fully available or was purchased during a discount campaign. If you need the item urgently, please let us know and we will do our best to find a solution for you.

If your order contains an item that is a pre-order, then the order will be dispatched once all items are available. If you want to receive the other items sooner, then please place these as a separate order.

At checkout we inform you of the estimated delivery time, please note that the delivery times indicated at checkout are only taken into account from the moment the order is processed.

All orders are quality checked, carefully packed and shipped. In the unfortunate event that orders are damaged in transit, please let us know and send us photo documentation as well to hello@unwind.studio.

We accept returns if the item is in perfect condition. For returns, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of the item. Return shipping costs will be borne by the buyer. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss of value.

Only regular priced items can be returned; unfortunately, sale items cannot be returned. There are several types of items that cannot be returned. These are: gift cards, downloadable patterns and custom canvases.
Upon receipt and inspection of your return, we will send you an email notifying you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If the refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within days.

If you have not yet received the refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card issuer, it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.

During Nov & Dec: All kits and canvases will be shipped in individual tubes/jars or small boxes, unless you tell us you prefer to receive optimized packaging, to help us preserve the planet!

Rest of the year: When you purchase more than one kit or canvas, we always try to accommodate them in a single packaging tube or small box, and only 1 printed embroidery booklet is included.

However, if you add a gift message at checkout, or let us know in advance that you are buying for a gift, we make sure to ship all projects in individual packages!

Don't worry, all our kits come beautifully packaged with our custom-made portable tubes or small boxes, making them a perfect gift for you or a friend. But if you don't know that person that well, we recommend you to buy one of our gift cards, there are options of 15€, 25€, 50€ and 100€.
