The Soufflé Needlepoint Stitch creates a textured pattern resembling the surface of soufflé. It's often used to add dimension.
Stitch Details
- Stitch Structure: Flat, Parallel, Diagonal, Condensed, Pattern
- Related Stitches: Moorish Stitch
- Recommended for: Large areas

- Start by making a tent stitch
- Next to the previous stitch make one diagonal stitch skipping two canvas intersections
- Then make two sequences of two stitches each, the first one would it be a diagonal stitch skipping three canvas intersections, and the second one skipping two canvas intersections
- Then make a tent stitch and repeat the steps from step 2
- Once you finished the diagonal row, make two more tent stitches, one in the front of the tent stitch of the principal row, then another above that one
