Melissa Donne is an illustrator from Southampton in the UK. She makes bright botanical inspired art which is underpinned by her love of colour. Her botanical illustrations are typically abstract in nature and explore shape, texture and form with a strong emphasis on bold colour combinations. Her creative practice is centred around combining often clashing colour palettes and adding unexpected textures and intricate details to her drawings. The outcome is work which is playful and contemporary, and designed to brighten the home.
